CLT Faculty Guide :: Post comments (review)

Instructions to post review comments in a student's document:

1.      Log on to LiveText using your username and password (this is not necessarily your ASU password unless you entered it that way).

2.      When you are logged in, you will be on the My Desk page.  On the left hand column under “Collaboration”, click on Reviews.

3.      If your students have sent items for you to review, you should have a list of items under the heading, “Received for Review”.  Choose the item you want to review first.  On the right hand side under actions, click on the link review.  You should see the document. 

4.      If you wish to make comments throughout the document, you may do so. Wherever you see the word review in blue on the right hand side, you may click on it.

5.   A textbox will show where you can click on it. You can click your mouse cursor in the box, and type in your comments.

6.   Click the [Save] button to save your comments. When you save it, your words will be highlighted in green at the given area of the document.

7.      On the student’s document, click the submit link at the right-top corner. This step is required, whether you have chosen to post only comments or assess using the rubrics. 

8.      You are done!  Go on to the next student’s document, and repeat the process.
