- Use the CTRL key on
your keyboard to disable the pop-up blocker
when opening a link. Often you do not
get a screen you expect, or your browser displays
a message like 'Error on page'. Try pressing
down the CTRL key and clicking on the link
again (you may have to click multiple times).
Although you may have disabled one pop-up
blocker on your machine, there may be multiple
ones installed. Use the CTRL key to override
all of them.
- Faculty, assess all
students on the same rubric first and then
go to the next rubric. If you are doing
multiple assessments, this can save you a
lot of clicks! LiveText remembers the last
assessment rubric you have used. If you use
the same rubric on all the students first,
you will save the effort of looking up the
rubric each time.
- Faculty, create a
smart label "Assessments" to reduce your effort
when grading with rubrics. The label
will group all the assessment rubrics shared
with you, and thus, you do not have to look
up the inbox each time you want to find a
rubric for grading. This will be the label
displayed by default when you open the assessment
window for grading.
- Click Edit labels... link under
the heading "Materials" in the left column.
- Click [Create] button and select the Smart
Label option.
- Title it "Assessments" in exactly this
spelling and letter case, and enter an optional
description if you want.
- Match "all" conditions.
- Select the drop-down menus on the second
line such that they display: Document
Type is Assessment.
- Click [Add] button to add a new row. Next
to the new row, click the [Remove] button.
- Hit [Save] under Description box.
