 1990 Co-author and director of a project to develop the curriculum and program delivery model for the community college system to provide community integration, mobility, and cognitive retraining skills for Nevada's developomentally disabled population.  Grant from the Nevada Developmental Disabilities Council. $42,787

 1983 Wrote a grant to the State of Illinois  to establish a community based "half way" and family respite program for disturbed, adjudicated and behaviorally disordered students.  for the Lagrange Area Department of Special Education. $50,000

 1982 Wrote a federal grant, "Parents as Effective Partners" to develop, validate, and disseminate a national model for training parents as home programmers and effective collaborators with schools.  For the LaGrange Area Department of Special Education, three years $126,000

 1980 Wrote a Title IV-C staff development grant for East Central Special Education Cooperative, Connersville, Indiana.  $60,000

 1979 Co-authored the continuation of "The National Inservice Network," a national technical assistance project for federally funded inservice teacher eduction programs.  For Indian University $500,000

 1976 Directed a project for the establishment of a public school residential program for deinstitutionalized emotionally disturbed adolescents.  North Dakota Department of Public Instruction, funded annually at $80,000

 1973 Presented a proposal to the North Dakota Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Social Services, for the establishment of a community based  and public school interagency residential program for mentally handicapped adolescents.  Approved $80,000
