Procedure for Applying for Administrator/Program Director Licensure
Step 1:

Candidate should complete candidate’s portion of the appropriate form and send it to Dept. Chair at P.O. Box 2781, State University, Arkansas 72467. In addition, the candidate should include a letter from the school district(s) confirming grade levels taught and years of teaching experience at each of those levels.

Note: Standard Licensure Applications should be sent to the State Department, not to the Dept. Chair.


Step 2

After receiving the form back from the Dept. Chair at ASU, the candidate should mail the form, an official transcript and the district’s letter confirming experience to the Arkansas State Department.

Note: Candidates who have taken the SLLA or the SSA exams can be reimbursed ½ of the exam’s cost. Requests should be made by contacting:
